The most common reason of files loss is human, i.e. their involuntary deletion. Their recovery involves  complex procedures technique that only professional people could try to enforce.


  • If one file is accidentally deleted and Recycle Ben is empty, do not disappear , stay calm. An accidentally  deleted file by user is not immediately deleted from the system. The computer presents the file as DELETED, because it is not visible through other files. The file will remain on storage medium until new files will be saved or written over it (some way similar to audio tape). So, to make the recovery possible when files were deleted, do not write any information on that storage medium.

  • The best you can do is not to use the computer until the file is recovered. The more you use the computer the greater is the possibility to write information over the file you hope to recover.
